In accordance with the GDPR laws in the EU, we take your privacy seriously, including your personal information. We therefore only process data that we need for (improving) our services and we handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes. We would like to inform you what information we store, how it is used, and what your rights are.

Information
Our web shop has been developed with Tilda software. Personal data that you make available to us for the benefit of our services will be shared with this party. Tilda has access to your data to provide us (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Tildais obliged to take appropriate security measures on the basis of the agreement we have concluded with them. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Tilda uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software, no personal data is collected and / or stored. Tilda reserves the right to share collected data within its own group in order to further improve the service.

When you register place an order, we collect the following information about you: Registration details, purchase details, and email preferences and phone number.
In some cases, these details are entered by you (for example, when you place the order and enter your details for a purchase), while in others, we collect data automatically (for example, when you subscribe to our newsletter, get discount coupons, or visit our website).

You are not required to provide your details to Know Yourself club legally, but you cannot place an order if you don’t provide your details. Providing your data is a completely voluntary act. If you do not provide your details, you will not experience legal complications, but you will not be able to place an order, register or receive special offers on any of our websites.

Processing Data
Processing your data is mostly necessary for processing your orders and pursuing legitimate interests. We will ask for your permission when legally required, such as for certain commercial emails or cookies. Your personal information is processed to provide services such as newsletters, processing orders, and improving your website experience.

Third parties may receive limited access to some of the personal information you provide us with. This is necessary at times to ensure your orders are carried out properly, like when we deliver an order, the shipping company is given your address particulars. Processing of this data by any outside the EU is not allowed. We will never share, trade, sell or reveal your private info to other entities apart from our delivery partners or government organizations and judicial institutions if required.

We process and store your details for as long as you are a customer. If you are inactive for a long period of time, we will remove your account and anonymize your information.

E-mail and mailing lists MailChimpWe send our e-mail newsletters with MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name and e-mail address for your own purposes. At the bottom of every e-mail sent automatically via our website you will see the 'unsubscribe' link. You will no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data is stored securely by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that make it clear whether e-mails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your data for the further improvement of the services and to share information with third parties.

Data protection rights
You can invoke your data privacy rights in certain circumstances:
You can withdraw your consent at any time if you have given permission for a particular processing activity. The withdrawal of consent will not affect the legality of any processing that took place before it was withdrawn or if a different legal basis was used to justify the processing.

Right to information: You have the right to know what personal information we store about you. If the information we store about you is inaccurate or irrelevant, you have the right to request that it be corrected by us.

If you wish, we will remove your data (according to art. 17 AVG), unless another legal regulation (for example: legal storage requirements) or a predominant interest on our part (for example: to defend our rights and claims) prohibits us from doing so.
You have the right to limit the processing of your data based on the conditions of article 18 (AVG).

The right to object: In accordance with article 21 of the AVG, you have the right to object to the processing of your details. This entitlement exists for reasons that are specific to particular situations and applicable only when data processing is legally based on an assessment of interests pertaining to profiling or direct-marketing purposes. If this situation arises, we will cease processing your information, unless we can provide evidence that there are legal grounds for us to deny your objection. We do not practise direct marketing, which includes profiling, and it is not a requirement of ours; therefore we will not process any of your data for these purposes.

Any time we decide to change this, you must give your permission for direct advertising or you will no longer receive it.

In accordance with article 20 (AVG), you can also request the transfer of your data to yourself or third parties in a structured, current and digital format.

In addition, you have the right to file a complaint with the relevant data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 of the AVG). To resolve your request as quickly and in a customer-focused manner, we always recommend that you file a complaint with our data protection officer as soon as possible.
